Thoughts As We Head To The Weekend
It seemed to be a good week if you’re rooting for a red wave, but with ten days ago I sense there is a settling in and you are going to see some closing over the next few days.
On the midterms I was wondering this. We hear John Fetterman got $2 million in donations after the debate and his polls are holding up. My question is, if a Republican had the debate that Fetterman did, where would he be in the polls? I suspect down digits at least and hounded by the press. Why is this different?
How can the President continue to either be so misinformed or just lying and continue to avoid MSM scrutiny?
Yesterday he told an audience that the price of gasoline was “over $5 a barrel when I took office.” What?
Then he claimed he has it down now to $3.36. What again?
Watching him, you almost believe that he believes that.
It was $2.39 the day he took office (and lower than that when he won election) and $3.76 today.
Great to have the media on your side right?
How do you call it an Hispanic Caucus (40 members) if you only have one view and admit people of one party?
Rep. Mayra Flores, the first Mexican-born American Congresswoman, says she was blocked from joining the Congressional Hispanic Caucus because her views lean right.
Wait, she represents an Hispanic district. You mean you can’t be Hispanic and conservative?
Wait now. Remember the warm embrace from 60 Minutes a month ago asking the President “how he managed” to avoid a rail strike? “How did you do it?” they asked.
Well, a second rail union voted to reject the deal.
Politico reported, that now a “strike could still happen as soon as Nov. 19.”
Makes me wonder was this another phony deal to avoid any issues before the midterms? You have to be a skeptic, but you have to wonder.
in this blog we have spared no punches on the former President and his penchant to tell stories that lack truth.
Well, one I think who tells as many, if not more, is Adam Schiff. The man who lied about evidence and put us through the Russian collusion lie. It irks me to read this:
Rep. Adam Schiff is still considering whether to run for the House Democratic leadership. He is expected to make a decision closer to Election Day. If not the house leadership, then he is “tantalized” about running for Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s seat in 2024.
Does he deserve higher office? Not as I see it.
Speaking of the former President, he is ready to use the 2024 midterms to launch himself. Look at his plans:
He is going to hold a rally in Florida with Senator Rubio, but not with Gov. DeSantis.
This angered some people within the DeSantis team who complained that the Florida governor’s team was not informed of the rally prior to Trump announcing it.
He will be in the key states of Ohio and Pennsylvania.
He is going to Iowa to campaign. That’s only the “first in the nation” primary for 2024.
Watch his plans next weekend.
He will be out there and then claim everyone won because of him.
Take a look at this chart and tell me what you think. Do you remember when they passed the Affordable Care Act and told us that it would save each family $2,500 a year? They lied and we are paying.
Where is the MSM to point this out?

As we close in on the weekend the news comes that Elon Musk has completed the purchase of Twitter.
His first move was to fire top executives, including CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya I Gadde and general counsel Sean Edgett.
What a great start.
