Oh Yea They’re Not Dangerous
Interesting story in the WSJ that I think people may be interested in.
The Taliban commander overseeing an assault on the key southern city of Lashkargah is one of 5,000 former prisoners released by the Afghan government last year under pressure from the U.S., Afghan and western officials say. The presence of the Taliban fighters is a fresh strain in relations between Washington and Kabul.
Shouldn’t this be more publicized since the current administration is planning to close Guantanamo Bay?
We capture these terrorists who are dedicated to killing as many Americans as possible and then the do gooders among us send them back believing they are changed?
Interesting Election Results In Ohio
Two primaries that put both parties to the test.
The Democratic Primary was a true showdown between the Bernie and AOC wing (with one of Bernie’s earliest and most vocal supporters running to become the next squad member) against a “moderate” Democrat endorsed by the main stream.
The Bernie candidate (Nina Turner) led big early in the cycle, but the party “moderates” fought back. Going into the home stretch the race was a toss up.
In the final week, Sen. Sanders campaigned in Akron. A few days earlier AOC was in Cleveland.
On the other side House Majority Whip James Clyburn. (Remember him? He was the congressman in SC who saved Joe Biden in the primary). He visited and backed the “moderate” Brown. The Congressional Black Caucus PAC also endorsed her as did Hillary Clinton.
So the battle lines were drawn and it shows how concerned some Democrats have over the far left of their party. They should, no matter how much cover the media gives them.
When the results came in Brown won with 50% to Nina Turner’s 45%. A new squad member denied.
The Republicans had some drama too.
They had a large field in a district they are replacing a congress person. Donald Trump had backed a candiate all out. The outgoing congressman endorsed another. It was the first test of a Trump backed primary candiate since the loss in Texas. This time his candidate (Mike Carey) won. Which is why you didn’t hear much about it.
One thing to remember here. In the Texas race last week, Democratic voters appeared to undercut Trump’s candidate (Susan Wright). In Ohio, however, only Republicans could vote in the primary. Republicans must assure Trump does not turn out more anti votes than he does pro.
They have to look at the election picture and not the primary. This is their primary threat in 2022.
Did You Notice
How little coverage this report from the Republicans in the House Foreign Committee got?
I guess it is what they reported and the current administration and their media allies don’t want to put any light on China. The report said:
The coronavirus was genetically manipulated and accidentally released from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in September 2019. The new evidence, provided in an update to Texas Rep. Michael T. McCaul’s September 2020 on the origins of the coronavirus, also points to efforts by Chinese officials to cover up the leak. “As we continue to investigate the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, I believe it’s time to completely dismiss the wet market as the source of the outbreak,” Rep. McCaul said. “Instead, as this report lays out, a preponderance of the evidence proves that all roads lead to the WIV.”
Now I believe that, as I bet most Americans do too. Yet no coverage in the MSM, why?
Evictions Ban Ends — Until
The President himself said the eviction ban was ending. He went from “We can’t issue a new eviction moratorium” to “We’re going to issue a new eviction moratorium.”
He even had mentioned the courts had ruled and he can’t extend it.
So why the reversal?
Answer: The squad and friends.
You saw Reps. Cori Bush, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Mondaire Jones’ and their media supported public pressure campaign which included camping out on the Capitol steps for five days.
Here’s what the Supreme Court said on banning the program on June 29:
In a curious 4-4-1 decision on a motion to stay the CDC’s eviction ban.
The four liberals denied the stay. Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Barrett would have granted it.
Brett Kavanaugh was the man in the middle.
He wrote:
“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention exceeded its existing statutory authority by issuing a nationwide eviction moratorium. Because the CDC plans to end the moratorium in only a few weeks, on July 31, and because those few weeks will allow for additional and more orderly distribution of the congressionally appropriated rental assistance funds, I vote at this time to deny the application to vacate the District Court’s stay of its order… In my view, clear and specific congressional authorization (via new legislation) would be necessary for the CDC to extend the moratorium past July 31.”
Clear enough, right? It’s over on July 31, so that’s it.
No legislation, no more evictions ban. Biden even said as much.
Until the far left pushed back, and the CDC came up with the too-cute solution, an evictions ban not everywhere, but for about 90% of the country.
This side steps Kavanaugh’s words about a total ban.
Ridiculous.
Simply put the President and team caved into the loud left. End of story, except for this.
Notice in the “four liberals” who voted to keep the program, one of them is John Roberts. We told you years ago when they say a conservative court and include him they are wrong.
One more thing on the protest the left staged. Here is a picture video of before, during and after the shot. Take notice of AOC and Senator Markey (Ma) in front of her. Notice how masks are only for pictures.

Oh yea, this AM Realtor groups sued the Biden administration over the extension. Now what about Roberts and Kavanaugh?
A Rasmussen Poll
A new Rasmussen Reports national survey finds that 90% of Likely U.S. Voters think it is important to prevent cheating in elections, including 79% who say it’s very important. Only seven percent (7%) of voters believe it’s not important to prevent election cheating.
Okay. Now what else do they support?
74% Of Voters Support Photo ID Requirement. They said it was vital for election integrity.
Does the media give you that impression, or do they support the Democratic position that it is racist?
The media is the problem.
Finally today: Why do you think these leaders did this?
There was a disclosure of gifts to President Trump by foreign leaders in 2019. It showed that three of them all had the same idea:
They gave him portraits of himself.
He received a Trump painting on dual-pane glass from then-Vietnamese President Nguyen Phu Trong.
Trump got a “large double frame carved from black stone with his image in precious metal on one side and the coat of arms of Egypt on the reverse,” from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison gave Trump a framed photo of Trump and his wife.
The gifts were turned over to the National Archives.
