SOME NEW POLLS ALARM ADMINISTRATION
Two interesting polls this AM that have spread alarm in the administration. The first is an ABC poll where 55% of the public said they are pessimistic about the direction of the country.
This was a major uptick from the 36% that said the same in a May 2 poll.
In the same earlier survey, Americans were more optimistic than pessimistic by a 28-percentage point margin. Today optimism is now under water by 10 points.
Asked about looking ahead to the next 12 months, only 45% now are feeling optimistic about the way things are going, a significant drop from about two-thirds (64%) in the May poll.
What was even more disturbing for the administration is that optimism was down about 20 points among Democrats and Republicans and down 26 points among independents.
While 63% still approve of the President’s handling of the Virus, he us underwater on other key issues. Fewer than 40% of those polled approved of his handling of immigration, the Mexican border, crime and gun violence.
No doubt this poll from a friendly ABC set off alarm bells in the White House.
THEN THERE WAS THIS AXIOS POLL
We have heard much about whether transgender athletes should compete against the gender they identify with. If you watch the MSM, you would think, if you felt anything but 100% supportive of allowing people to choose their gender competition that you were out of touch. Well it turns out the country feels the opposite. It is the media who is out of touch.

So, 39% say a person should compete in the gender they were born in. 14% say they would ban them from competing.
Only 20% support competing in the gender you ID with.
If you watch the media you would never guess that would you?
What’s also amazing is 23% had no opinion (or were afraid to express it).
Even only 35% of the Democrats supported gender choice ID participation.
There may well be a silent majority in the 2022 when you consider the parties positions and add issues like defunding the police.
If I were advising the Democrats it would be to stop trying to prosecute Donald Trump and let him get out in the stump in 2022. He is the only one that can save them!
ONE MORE POLL THAT COULD HURT
There’s lot of news about the January 6th commission and the MSM is reporting that Speaker Pelosi has stunned Republicans and outmaneuvered House Minority Leader McCarthy. Well this another MSM miscalculation. I have seen polls where 70% of the country disapproves of this panel and wonders why the riots, fires and murders of the summer are not being investigated instead.
Think about that. We are investigating January 6th because it was Washington DC and they were involved. Yet the only person killed was a Trump supporter shot by a security officer they won’t identify. (It is rumored that the person shooting the Air Force Veteran was part of the Schumer protection detail. Again, not confirmed). But no guns were taken from the protesters and nothing burned. That we are going to spend millions on. Businesses burned, destroyed and lives lost all summer in riots — nothing.
The American people have figured this out. The MSM and Washington Politicians haven’t.
