Shame…

i say shame:

Donald Trump forced A.G. Barr out yesterday, and that is wrong for so many reasons.
First of all Barr did what he was supposed to do as the Attorney General of the United States. He wasn’t Loretta Lynch or Eric Holder. He wasn’t the “wing man” to the President. He wasn’t the partisan that Chuck Schumer and the Democrats accused him of. He was the ethical leader of the law.
What a shame he was forced out.
So where’s the press now saying those accusing him of being a partisan holding the Democrats and media to their false claim? If Barr were what they said, Trump would have likely won. Of course the media is no where.
They have lost all credibility.
Now here is one more reason Donald Trump is his own worst enemy.
He lost this election and is still refusing to exit stage right. In five weeks he will begin writing his memoir. Wouldn’t it have been a great chapter to write about the ethics of his administration, where the A.G. did not leak information that would have changed the election outcome? Wouldn’t it have been great to write how these ethics compared to his predecessor where the A.G. called himself the President’s “wing man?” Wouldn’t it have been great to compare his A.G. to the former President’s A.G. who met on the tarmac with Bill Clinton while her department was investigating Hillary Clinton?
No, the President couldn’t see the big picture, so he forces the A.G. out. So what’s he going to write now, his A.G. was too honest? Shameful.

Now, in an equal opportunity shameful, let’s turn to a Democrat, Governor Andrew Cuomo, the new left hero. How shameless is this man?
He was on the air telling people he did not trust any vaccine from the Trump administration. Remember his arrogance and the coverage he got?
Well yesterday he planned and rushed for the first shot in the nation to be done in New York with his smiling face on television. Wait, I thought you needed “your people” to verify the drug? You said after they did, then you would employ it. It barely made it across the state line and you were on TV watching it administered. Shameful.

And Governor, you with a death rate (along with NJ) leading the world, who wrote a book claiming victory after touting all summer how you had beaten the virus, are now mired in closing again. How can you smile your way through that, and continue pushing the book?
You should be embarrassed.

Shame, too, to the press. Your failure to call Cuomo on either of those and treat him as a hero is just another black mark for you. Your bias is destroying the industry.
While on that subject, let me ask the “free and unbiased press” these questions:

Where’s the reporting on the lies you and the left told that the President’s appointments to the Supreme Court would turn the election?
All three of his appointments voted against him on the key election case. Did you call anyone in the lies during the hearings? Why are you allowing such loud misjudgment to go uncalled upon? You certainly covered their hysteria.
Why are you not playing back all the comments going back to March that said “warp speed” was a fallacy and lie?

I’ll say it again – The media is the problem.

A personal note on the media.
This AM I earned the greatest $5.00 of my lifetime. The NY Times asked me to participate in a review of them for an Amazon gift card. What a delight to tell them of “their biased, agenda driven and unfair coverage” and have them pay me. I felt better and have money in my Amazon account!

Have a great day.

It’s Lost Values…

flag of america

the problem is lost values

The questions that come to me more often than any other are these three:
What happened to us? Where does it come from? How can they think like that?

The answer to me is LOST VALUES.

When you lose the values upon which you built your societal foundation, then you begin to lose that society. That is where we are.

We built the greatest nation in the history of the world.
We have helped more people in the world than any nation in history. We are the first to respond to world tragedies with food, goods and aid.
We have sent our citizens to fight and die, not to conquer, but to help others be free. When the conflicts end we don’t stay to rule, we leave. All we ask for is land to bury our citizens who gave their lives to help them.
Think of any country in the world that can say we have done as much as America has.
You won’t find one close.

We have millions upon millions trying to come to our nation. Some get in line, others try to sneak in. Some even schedule trips to assure their child is born in our land.
While other countries build walls to keep their people in, we build them to try and manage a legal means in. What other country has that issue?

And yet, here in that promised land we have citizens in the streets, in the press, on the air and in elected office telling us we need to tear the fabric apart.
How can that be?

The answer is lost values.

Since the winning of WWII, beginning with the Greatest Generation raising their offspring, we have strived to give the next generation everything. We didn’t want our kids to be without anything. We did it so well that generations have grown to think it is normal to have it all. We gave so much that people have become entitled. We gave so much that the value of anything is driven down. We have given so much that the very values that established the nation have been lost.

Our forefathers came for the opportunity to work and seek a better life. They built a nation on that premise then created generations that assumed a better life is theirs because they’re here. They passed on so much, but not the very values that drove their success.

An example of lost values means, Chuck Schumer can say we are to forgive $50,000 of college debt for you.
The people who worked their way through college? You don’t matter, that’s the old values.
The people who paid off their debt? That doesn’t matter, old values.
You went to work rather than create debt? Lost values.
The new value is we reward those who spent, were irresponsible and didn’t care about paying back. Don’t worry, we’ll give you government money and raise taxes on the responsible to cover your debt.

That’s one example. Another? Criminals shouldn’t go to jail, it’s societies fault.
As you listen to the protests, the programs some politicians offer, and the sympathy some on air personalities offer, apply that value test. I think you’ll see quickly the problem for our future — Lost Values.

I don’t know if we can course correct. We have created generations to see the world in the new view. Just as they are entitled, their guilt makes them sure they are right.
They are not, and they are destroying the fabric of our nation.

have a great day.

The Media Did It….

for over a decade

For long term readers of this blog we have shared the thought and absolute belief that the media is biased and that impacts public opinion.
Well it came to roost in this election, and now in the post period it is clear they made the difference in the outcome.
Months ago we said the title of our election book will be:
The Election The Media Decided.
It didn’t take long for the absolute proof to arise.

The lies they supported, the politicians they held unaccountable, the stories they suppressed and the hostility they exhibited are now in the open.

They lied about Russian Collusion, with no evidence, except relaying reports from lying Congressional representatives like Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell.
How many were swayed by Russian Collusion and believe it to this day?
It was all a lie.
The media went all in and reported it as fact. The disgraced reporters are all still writing and on the air, their biases clear.

They kept reporting on the Trump kids and how they were profiting from the Presidency. What percent of Americans do you think still believe the President and his family profited from his years in office?
Yet Forbes, in their annual report, says that despite the booming economy created, the President’s net worth is less. Yet, they never explained that the President and his kids working in the White House took no pay. That’s right, no pay. None of them.
While telling us the lie on how much the Trump family profited they forget to look at Hunter, his sister, and uncle. Now they profited.
Who reported that?

In fact, despite the evidence found on Hunter’s computer, the media refused to report anything. They blocked the story! Said it was a Russian lie.
Well, they were wrong again. This was not a Russian lie, it was Chinese real.
They missed the story to the point where 15% of Biden voters said if they knew it they would have changed their vote. That changes the election outcome.
A free press would not have missed it. A biased one would have. We have a biased press.

While they released story after story on the Trump taxes, they missed the FBI probe of Hunter and the Biden tax investigation. Who faces real trouble ahead over taxes? It’s the Biden family.
A real press core would have reported that. A biased one would miss it. Our press missed it.

If the press is there to get policy information and question the candidates, ask yourself how they did. They went after the President with all the hostility and vehemence possible. Do you remember one such session with President-elect Biden? Of course not, there wasn’t.
A free and fair press would have gone after both sides. A biased one not. We had a one sided press attack.

Russia, Russia, Russia, that was all you heard, right? Well it turns out it was China, China, China. How did our free press do with that? They made a hero of Congressman Eric Swalwell and his Russian conspiracy theories. While fawning over him they missed he was compromised by a Chinese Woman Spy. Would a free and fair press have done that?
After he’s caught, he says it’s all a distraction because of his work on impeachment. Really, who believes that? Oh, the press apparently does because they haven’t questioned him about that lie.

Remember the names the press and Chuck Schumer called A.G. Barr? He was a partisan hack, but Eric Holder, who called himself “Obama’s Wingman,” was not. We here have said consistently that Barr was a true professional and following the law. Well it turns out today we learn that Barr knew about the investigations into Hunter Biden and never disclosed them before the election. Why? Simply because he is A.G. of the United States and not the President’s “wingman.”
The media and Democratic officials own Barr an apology.

Speaking of Chuck Schumer, he wants President-Elect Biden to issue an executive order wiping out any college debt a person has up to “$50,000.”
Really, Chuck? How about those who worked to pay off their debts? What do we tell them, “oh you were responsible, therefore you lose?” How about those whose parents and guardians got extra jobs and paid their kids college bills? Do we tell them how “stupid they are?” How about those who didn’t want debt and went to work instead, rather than accumulate debt? Do we tell them “you lose?”

Finally, today another example of media bias. Time Magazine, the left leaning publication, named Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as People Of The Year.
First of all, the designation is for the person or event that made the biggest difference in the year. I think that was Covid19.
Second, it’s the first time a VP was ever named. Why was Harris named? I wonder. The left loves her, and Joe better be careful with his friends in the press. They are only loyal to their biases these days.

have a great weekend.

What About Fraud…

what about fraud?

That was the question I got most from yesterday’s blog. So let me address that.

Yes, I think there was fraud. Deceased people voting, ballot harvesting, manipulation of ballots and more.
Yes, it is disturbing and this should be the focus of congress to fix going forward. It has gone on for decades, and it’s long been time to end it.
However, the fraud number for these instances did not amount to the necessary level to overturn the states necessary to reverse the election.

The President has 232 electoral votes. To overturn the election he would need 38 additional electoral votes from a combination of these states:
PA (20 votes), Michigan (16), Georgia (16), Arizona (11), Nevada (6).
The differences in states like PA and Michigan, which he needs one of in any scenario, were 81,000 and 154,000 respectively.

I don’t think the fraud level reached that high in any state, and thus far the administration has been unable to illustrate it has come close to that.

now don’t forget the media

In my opinion the media decided this election more than fraud. The media is up there, side by side with the missteps in the campaign by the President and his team that I outlined yesterday.

The 92% negative coverage of the President, despite the accomplishments we outlined, is an indictment of the entire industry.

When 35% (in a post poll) say they didn’t know about the Hunter Biden computer issue, and yes it would have impacted their vote, that is on the media.

When the press allows one candidate to stay home day after day and never questions this, you have an issue. In fact, what they did was run a story of a President out and campaigning next to a Biden video released from his home and made it appear equal. It wasn’t.

On the rare occasion that President-Elect Biden took questions they were softball ones. More about what a bad guy Donald Trump was than what he planned to do.
He never got a question about his stamina and health. He was never asked about Hunter and his work with countries that he (Biden) was managing.
He skate walked to the election, and in this post period is still doing that.

The media has lost all credibility, and it’s ratings as a entity have fallen in the eyes of the public. Their bias decided this election as much as anything.

a thought on one term presidents

This thought kind of ties into the above media bias one.

In the past 40 years we have had three one term presidencies.

As a post script to George H. W. Bush’s time the media began writing about his being one of the most, if not most impactful one term presidencies in history. Of course this was after they fawned all over Bill Clinton to sway things. Remember the names they called President Bush? As soon as he lost they talked of his accomplishments in glowing terms and “maybe the most impactful one term presidency.”

Then we had Jimmy Carter’s one term, and though the media voted for Carter over Reagan they never wrote of a successful presidency. They had to say he was a great ex President for his work, because his four years were a disaster.

Now we have Donald Trump and, despite the incredible accomplishments, the media buried him. I suspect with time they will talk of his term in the same light they do George H. W. Bush. Don’t you agree?

Now consider this. The two one term Presidencies that will be called among the most impactful were Republican Presidents who the media tried to get out of office. The other (Carter’s) was clearly one of the worst Presidencies (and certainly the worst of my lifetime), but was a Democrat, who they still backed and have labeled the greatest ex President ever.

Just an example of media bias.

Oh yea, a message to George W. Bush. Now that Democrat Joe Biden is in the White House, you are going back to being dumb and the President who lied so soldiers died. You might have enjoyed your Never Trump popularity with the media, but that ends with a Democratic win. Let’s see who your friends are now as they go back to blaming you for all the world’s wrongs.

Have a Great Day.

Checking In…

answering your question

I’ve been asked where’s the blog?
The answer is, we were clear that this election was over when they called Arizona for President-Elect Biden.

In the next edition we made clear that yes we thought there was fraud, but no where near the numbers needed to reverse the election. I think that is clear now.

We also said the President will drag this out to the point he puts the Georgia run offs in jeopardy. That wasn’t hard to predict, and it’s happening.

Thus, I saw no need to take your time to tell you what I already had, or to repeat what you were seeing on your TV screens.

so where are we and what now?

Well the President and his lead attorney are continuing to attack the vote and make claims the election will be overturned. Not a chance!

What they are doing is burning the ground they are walking on and putting the Republican party in jeopardy.

Look at the names the President has called the Republican Governor of Georgia, whom he backed. Look at what he has said about the Republican Secretary of State in Georgia. What he is doing is motivating the left to vote again, while dividing his party for the key January 5th runoff.

So ask yourself, does he care more about himself than the party holding the senate? It seems like that in Georgia.

Today he attacked a second Republican Governor (Arizona), who was a friend. The Governor is not doing what the President thinks he should so he attacks him. Very divisive and bad for the party.

Maybe he should take a look at the things he said about John McCain in the state where they liked him and his family. Maybe take a look in the mirror Mr. President and ask yourself if you had not said what you did, you might have won the state.

And while you’re looking in that mirror we recommend again you ask the man in the mirror if he had allowed controlled tweeting that maybe he would not have motivated the hatred that drove so many to vote against him.

That maybe a little less ego and a little more humility might have turned the trick.
Maybe if you gave others credit as in “they” rather than “me”, that might have worked.
Or, how about if you had run your campaign on issues and accomplishments, do you think that might have worked?

here’s some things he might look at

You had historic accomplishments that history will recognize, yet in the entire campaign you never focused on them and told the people. Why not?

You had a weakened opponent who limited his time on the road. Why did you act like a buffoon at debate one? It was clear to everyone the more your opponent spoke the better it was for you. So what do you do? You interrupt at word one. Why was bullying your strategy?

You impulsively cancelled debate two as you hear about the plan to do it virtually. After debate one, how could that be your instinct? When you make the opposition happy you are doing something wrong. They delighted at this decision. Why did you do it without thinking it through?

You finally get it right in debate three, and look at the progress you made. The debates were the one place the media couldn’t really protect your opponent. Whose fault were debates one and two? Look in the mirror.

The Coronavirus hurt you. Think about that.
You had a record of getting things done with equipment and needs. You shut the borders. There was absolutely nothing your opponent wanted to do that you hadn’t. You started warp speed, did people hear that from you? With all you did, you made it about masks and an hour and a half daily brief, that you had to be front and center. Why? Why would you do that?
You allowed the virus to control you when your leadership was outstanding. Look in the mirror.

You lowered the corporate tax to 21% (from 35%), and that brought jobs back. Jobs that left under your opponent, who said he was going to raise the rate back up to 28%. Couldn’t you simply explain this to the American people and the jobs we’ll lose again? They would have understood this. Why didn’t you?

Do you think people understood what the Paris Climate Agreement was? Your opponent said he was going back in on day one. Couldn’t you explain what this meant for us? The money it would cost, the fact that China and India, the world’s largest polluters, would be free for ten more years while we cut back? Don’t you think that would have resonated? Why didn’t you?

There were so many more issues, yet you never got them front and center. You allowed the media to protect an opponent who stayed home. Why?

You told people not to vote by mail with the virus front and center. What kind of strategy was that? You allowed the other party to vote for months while telling your people to vote the day of. Does that make sense? Play by the rules and win was the order of this election. You didn’t do that, why?

Now you see fraud, that you knew was coming. Did you prepare ahead of time to avoid it? If you have it now, where is it? The Governors you are ripping, the courts you are going to, they don’t see it. Your own A.G. doesn’t see it.
Where is it?

What it comes down to is the man in the mirror. You gave it all you had physically, but your ego made mistakes. You turned so many against you with your words and actions that they wanted to vote against you. The failure to articulate the accomplishments really hurt.

You lost for the reasons above with two overriding ones. Your ego and the media. No doubt the media was against you and protected your opponent. They should never have gotten away with that, but you kept providing them ammunition. It was a shame.

Finally, you are going to Georgia this weekend. That trip must be about the upcoming runoff and not you. Holding the senate for your party is bigger than claims you cannot back. Right now you are costing them the election.
And that leaves 2024. Not a good idea. Don’t further divide the party. It’s time to move on. Let history judge your presidency.

Have a great day.
