The news this weekend was about the Epstein suicide. Nothing we can add to that today. We think it likely was a suicide, but that doesn’t answer all the questions.
We wonder why he was isolated. Why he was taken out of suicide watch.
Why he had no cellmate since suicide immates have them to provide conversation relief. Why the guards weren’t doing what they were supposed to do.
Why there wasn’t extra vigilance since the papers were released that day naming some names.
Lots of questions on that score, and we know lots of powerful people with lots of money and lots of connections want this to go away today.
The sole person we trust here is AG Barr. We think he is one of the few uncorruptable people in government and this morning we heard he wants three hour updates, which means he wants to get to the truth. Let’s hope.

Presidential tweets this weekend:
1. “Never has the press been more inaccurate, unfair or corrupt! We are not fighting the Democrats, they are easy, we are fighting the seriously dishonest and unhinged Lamestream Media. They have gone totally CRAZY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
2. “In a letter to me sent by Kim Jong Un, he stated, very nicely, that he would like to meet and start negotiations as soon as the joint U.S./South Korea joint exercises are over. It was a long letter, much of it complaining about the ridiculous and expensive exercises. It was………also a small apology for testing the short range missiles, and that this testing would stop when the exercises end. I look forward to seeing Kim Jong Un in the not too distant future! A nuclear free North Korea will lead to one of the most successful countries in the world!”
Joe Biden continues to misspeak. This time he said:
“Joe Biden said he was vice president when the deadly high school shooting in Parkland, Florida, took place. Except, it happened in 2018, more than a year after he left office — the latest gaffe by the Democratic presidential front-runner. An official with the Biden campaign said the former vice president was thinking of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, when he misspoke. That attack, in which 20 children between six and seven years old were killed along with six staff members, was in December 2012.”
Don’t you think you would remember Sandy Hook and that tragic situation?
A positive comment (from our side) that Joe said this weekend:
“The 1994 assault weapons and high-capacity magazines bans worked. And if I am elected president, we’re going to pass them again — and this time, we’ll make them even stronger. We’re going to stop gun manufacturers from circumventing the law by making minor modifications to their products — modifications that leave them just as deadly. And this time, we’re going to pair it with a buyback program to get as many assault weapons off our streets as possible as quickly as possible.”
Interesting comment from acting DHS Secretary Kevin McCaleenan on Meet The Press. When asked about the Mississppi raids:
I want to go back to the Mississippi raid one more time on this. Given the emotions of the country right now, in hindsight, do you wish this raid didn’t happen this week?” MCALEENAN: “The timing was unfortunate.”
Yes it was.
NYT asks today if after the El Paso shooting will Americans look upon Beto O’Rourke differently?
All we saw was a foul mouthed political animal looking to move himself forward more than anything else.
Finally, remember the videos of water dousing in NY Cops? The Republicans in the NY Assembly brought up a bill to make that a felony. The Assembly Democrats led by Speaker Carl Heastie threw cold water on it and buried it. That’s the current divide in the nation.
