Events Unfolding …..

Let’s start with Iran again.
Since 1978 when President Carter failed, they have been an issue. The number one exporter of terror and unrest in the world.
So now they attack tankers in the open seas. Destroy a $130 million drone over the international water and the President shows restraint. He doesn’t retaliate and cause them loss of life and harm. He adds some sanctions as an answer to their war like acts and offers dialogue. Their reaction?
Iran’s President Rouhani mocks President Trump, saying the White House is “afflicted by mental retardation.” He added, that the sanctions are “outrageous and stupid.” They “threaten global security”.

That, my friends, is an example of allowing terrorists to do what they want for 40 years. At some point Iran will have to be dealt with. This administration is hoping the change comes from within and the people arise. We’ll see.

By the way, did you see this tweet from the President? It is what we have been asking for a week:
President Trump called upon countries to protect their own ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and questioned why the U.S. has provided such protection for years “for zero compensation.”

Mexico and a little reported story in the NYT:
“Mexico’s Crackdown at Its Southern Border, Prompted by Trump, Scares Migrants From Crossing.”
THE STORY SAYS: “Mexico’s mobilization of its security forces has been halting, and for most of the past two weeks it seemed to fall short of the dramatic show of force that the government had promised. Still, the deployment has already disrupted the usual flow of people and commerce passing over this historically porous border, and sown fear among migrants and their smugglers alike.”
So a negative followed by praise — which is about all the President will ever get from the NYT.

Think of the reporting on the Trump kids:
Now consider the continued stories on Hunter Biden and how little coverage it is getting. This week we hear of an Arkansas woman who is suing him for child support, claiming he is the father of her 10-month-old baby.
The woman said he fathered the child “during his relationship with his late brother’s widow”.
This on top of the announcement he has left his brother’s widow, for whom he divorced his wife to be with, and now after a ten day courtship has married an Australian woman.
Oh, if only this were a Trump kid what juicy headlines and stories we would have.

One day before debate one Move On.Org released a straw poll:
Sen. Elizabeth Warren leads her 2020 Democratic rivals both nationally and in early presidential states in a straw poll of MoveOn members released Tuesday by the liberal advocacy group.
Ms. Warren of Massachusetts was the first choice of 38% of MoveOn members nationwide, followed by Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont at 17%, former Vice President Joseph R. Biden at 15%, Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana, at 12%, and Sen. Kamala D. Harris of California at 7%.

Speaking of polls, here’s a Politico one on canceling the military strike:
Most voters agree with President Donald Trump’s decision to call off airstrikes in Iran last week, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll that also shows little public support for U.S. military action in the Persian Gulf.
According to the poll, just over a third of voters, 36 percent, support military action in Iran after the Iranians shot down an unmanned U.S. drone aircraft — fewer than the 42 percent who oppose it. Roughly two-in-10 voters, 22 percent, said they have no opinion.
A majority of self-identified Republican voters, 59 percent, do support further military action in Iran. But support for striking Iran is much lower among Democratic voters (23 percent) and independents (28 percent).
