We think if the same person(s) who advised President Trump to do the separation policy is/are the same who recommended Melania wear that jacket yesterday, that the President should practice his famous phrase “you’re fired”. How insensitive can you get?
We think the liberal media and magazines like Time should do a little research before running with something. Shouldn’t they be embarrassed for the picture Time used on the cover with that little girl, separated from her Mom, looking at the President? You see, that girl was not separated from her Mom. Now they won’t cover that fact, but think if a conservative had done this, would they?
Did you know there was a vote on an an immigration bill to settle the border issue yesterday? It failed. Did you know that one hundred per cent of the Democrats voted against it? There is a second vote early next week scheduled on another bill. Guess what, the Democrats plan to vote 100% against it. Okay, so what is their plan? Can someone tell us? Will anyone in the media ask them?
While you’re figuring that out can someone also tell us this. Daily we hear ABC’s GMA and Evening news rip Republicans and call the administration liars. They say it outright. Can someone point out when — if ever — they have attacked or criticized a Democrat? We can’t find any and yet we are supposed to believe they are fair and impartial. Sorry, but count us as skeptics.
By the way here is a Rasmussen Survey Report released yesterday. Did you hear this anywhere?
When families are arrested and separated after attempting to enter the United States illegally, 54% of Likely U.S. Voters say the parents are more to blame for breaking the law. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 35% believe the federal government is more to blame for enforcing the law. Eleven percent (11%) are not sure.
Imagine the American people think going back to the cause of the act is the reason for the effect. Something the news media never considers.
In that same poll we see the divide:
To help understand the current political debate over the children issue, a closer look shows that 82% of Republicans and 56% of voters not affiliated with either major political party feel the parents are more to blame for breaking the law. But 60% of Democrats say the government is more to blame for enforcing the law.
Seventy-five percent (75%) of Democrats think the Trump administration is too aggressive in trying to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the United States, a view shared by only 23% of Republicans and a plurality (46%) of unaffiliated voters.
Speaking of things the media doesn’t cover did you see this? As you read it ask yourself if the situation were reversed and a Republican lawmaker did this to Obama would it be covered?
“An openly gay Pennsylvania Democratic lawmaker “welcomed” Vice President Mike Pence to Philadelphia with a picture of himself flipping the bird.
“Get bent, then get out!” state Rep. Brian Sims, of Philadelphia, wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday ahead of Mr. Pence’s visit to a fundraiser for Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner.
“Vice President Mike Pence, let me be the first person to officially welcome you to the City of Brotherly Love, and to my District in the State House!” Mr. Sims wrote. “To be clear, we’re a City of soaring diversity. We believe in the power of all people to live and to contribute: Black, Brown, Queer, Trans, Atheist, Immigrant, we want you and we’ll respect you.”
“So keep that in mind while you’re here raising money to attack more families, spread more lies, blaspheme with your bible, and maybe even talk to a woman without your wife in the room,” he added. “We have plenty of them, and they’re pretty much all more powerful and more real than you have ever been”.
Here’s a second example this week:
A young woman shouted an expletive at President Trump Tuesday evening as he arrived at the Capitol for a meeting with Republican lawmakers.“Mr. President, f– you,” the woman, reportedly a (Democratic) congressional intern, can be heard yelling.
And add the Department of Justice employee yelling at the Homeland Security Director in a restaurant the other night.
Such is the state of the nation and a cultural war is clearly underway. Can the people hold their views (like in the Rasmussen Report above) against the onslaught of the MSM bias? Many have long said, don’t bet against the American people. We hope that’s still true.
