Some Quick Hits
President Trump is having maybe the best week of his presidency. His State Meeting with France’s President Macron, has been a real boost. The MSM has spent the past year telling us how disrespected he (and we), were in the world today.
What we saw this week was a leader who is setting the world agenda.
Add the progress with North Korea and suddenly the man the MSM told us was leading the world to a nuclear war may actually be doing the opposite. There’s a long way to go but Kim Jong-un does seem to be a little different doesn’t he?
This outcome will be fascinating.
Suddenly there’s talk of an added agreement with Iran coming from others. Is that the solution to both sides saving face? Could be, and if it is, it would be another coup for the president.
The special election in Arizona last night is another sign of what may be ahead in November. The Republican held the seat in a 52-47 win. However, this was a district that Trump won by over 20%. The Republicans have a lot of work to do.
As we mentioned yesterday the MSM took off on Dr. Ronnie Jackson’s nomination to head the VA as soon as Pompeo made it through. What bugs us is they keep saying “the President nominated his doctor” for the position. They are misleading. Dr Jackson was the White House Doctor and received such great reviews and recommendations from President Obama too. Why can’t they tell the whole story? It’s a true example as to why the respect for the media is so low.
Here’s another they played up the President responding to their questions about Kim Jong-un and saying that in this matter he has been smart and “honorable”. Meaning Kim has done what he said and was told. The media plays that as Trump calling Kim “honorable” overall. Totally out of context and so misleading.
The old saying that you know people by their friends and enemies may apply here. Retired Senator Harry Reid said this about President Trump today: “He is not a nice man,” Reid continued, “and that’s an understatement.”
I wonder if Mitt Romney thinks Harry Reid is a good man after the false statement he made on the floor in the 2012 campaign.
The found Page/Strzok text messages are being released to congress today or tomorrow. There should be leaks in about 20 minutes.
