Does this guy have any clue? EPA Chief Scott Pruitt got caught again. This time he had a $43,000 soundproof phone booth built in his office. First it was unauthorized. Second, why? Why would he even think he need that?
Pruitt has become a drag on a President who doesn’t need another one. He will be the next to leave this administration. We are unsure why it hasn’t happened yet.
Why does Trump continue to hold back on Putin? On Sunday, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, said new sanctions against Russia were imminent. On Monday, the administration changed it’s mind and now it seems no additional sanctions will be made in the near future.
No way Haley announces this at the U.N. without the plan in place. Only one person could have changed the plan. The question is why?
A story you will hear about this week. Fidel Castro took over Cuba in 1959 and stayed at the head of government until 2014. He retired and passed away in 2016. Well this week, his brother Raúl is set to step down as Cuba’s president.It will be the first time that a Castro won’t be officially in charge of the country in 59 years.
Remember when David Hogg, the Parkland student organized the boycott of Laura Ingraham’s show? Well 21 sponsors ran and cancelled ads. You heard that no doubt. Did you hear this. — her ratings were up 20% the next week. The advertisers missed out.
Interesting with CBS. They have been angry at the NDA’s that Trump and team have with some woman. Yet they are having their people sign NDA’s on the Charlie Rose case. Hmmm.
How did Comey do ratings wise with George? He had less than half the audience that Stormy got on 60 Minutes a few weeks before. I guess sex over boy scouts for ratings.
Speaking of Stormy I have to believe others are getting tired of her act as we are. Enough publicity already.
Remember that triple cop killer that New York was to release? His release date was this week, but the police union in NY is in court and has managed to get a temporary hold. We’ll see what happens.
Oh yea and that Palm Sunday killer of ten they released the police are trying to tie him to another unsolved murder and get him back behind bars. For now though he walks free.
International Events
Amazing to hear of Mike Pompeo meeting with North Korea. There is hope on where this goes, but be careful. N. Korea always wants to buy time, but they may just realize that Trump is serious and want a deal. Stay tuned.
By the way, the same Pompeo is having a hard time getting congressional approval for his new role as Secretary of State. This will help him.
Inspectors are having trouble getting into the city in Syria where the chemical attacks occurred. Sounds like Saddam days revisited doesn’t it.
