Really Mr. President ……

After all the progress this week with the tax cuts, companies supporting it with bonuses and raises, the terrific meeting that was televised and put the book charges to bed, the President goes and utters the words he did? Really? Really?

The man is destroying his Presidency and good works with his mouth and tweets. The shame is not that he is leading himself to failure, but that all the progress on the policies that are driving the economy will go with him. He is setting up liberal victories in 2018 and 2020.

The question is why? Why can’t he express himself without the damning words? Why can’t he control what comes out? He wants a merit based immigration policy, most Americans would support that position. Is the way to express it calling the proposed countries “shithold countries”? Who would do that? Who with sensitivity in the country to race would do that, when they are referring to minority nations?  There is a missing link somewhere and we still think it goes back to his life and work. From day one he was the boss and no one would take him on or challenge him because he would discard them. Thus he grew in stature saying what he wanted and had people smile and support him in private. Now the world is watching and he doesn’t have that natural sensitivity instinct.

An absolute shame.

Meanwhile:

Chances for others to look bad get lost in the process. Nancy Pelosi criticized the televised immigration meeting yesterday. Despite her number two person being in there along with other Democrats, she criticized it. She also said it was a disgrace that no people of color were in the room. Her Democratic Whip, Steny Hoyer immediately blasted that statement.
Now imagine that, the Democratic lead (Pelosi) and the Democratic Whip (Hoyer) attacking each other.Did you hear that on the MSM?
If it were Paul Ryan and Republican Whip (Steve Scalise), would it be news?

Did You Know?
That Brian Ross, the suspended ABC reporter who put out the story that turned out to be fake about Mike Flynn meeting the Russians before the election, has returned to work?
However, not to ABC and on air. His false reporting days are over. He has moved down the street from ABC News headquarters to their Lincoln Square Productions. That
production company that makes unscripted content for the Disney ABC Television Group/ABC News, and other broadcast, cable and digital outlets. So no more Brian in the air. We won’t miss him.
We Wonder:

Since Russian collusion seems to be a non starter, what is Special Prosecutor Mueller doing?  We wonder if he is looking at Trump’s financials. Once a prosecutor begins he follows trails far from the original. If this is occurring here, buckle up for a fight. Trump has guarded his financials and will fight this hard. We have long wondered what he is hiding. He (Trump) will yell loudly that there was no Russian collusion and a lie led to the investigation and he is innocent and this is over.
We hope we’re wrong, but if there was no collusion why does Mueller want to talk to Trump? Why is the investigation ongoing?

Add This:

There was a report this week about the Grand Jury convened by Mueller’s team. Here’s what they said:

The federal grand jury handing down indictments for special counsel Robert Mueller doesn’t appear to include any supporters of President Trump, according to one witness who recently testified before the panel.

“The grand jury room looks like a Bernie Sanders rally,” my source said. “Maybe they found these jurors in central casting, or at a Black Lives Matter rally in Berkeley[, Calif.]”

Of the 20 jurors, 11 are African-Americans and two were wearing “peace T-shirts,” the witness said. “There was only one white male in the room, and he was a prosecutor.” Mueller was not present.

The Washington, DC, grand jury, which meets only on Fridays, handed down its first indictments in October, charging Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, and his partner Rick Gates with money laundering and failing to register as foreign agents. The two are pleading not guilty.

Mueller’s team is expected to bring more charges against Manafort relating to his work on behalf of the Ukrainian government in the years before Trump became a candidate.

Sol Wachtler, the former chief judge in New York, once called for abolishing grand juries because they are so easily manipulated that they would “indict a ham sandwich.”

My source said, “That room isn’t a room where POTUS gets a fair shake.”
