As we close in the one year anniversary we want to take some looks back the administration performance and all the noise out there. Let’s start today with this question.
Exactly what is the MSM angry about and why?
First let’s define their role again. The media is to report the news. Report it in a non biased manner presenting all sides and provide public information.
We’ve seen the studies that 90% of the coverage for this administration has been negative. In this blog we have outlined weekly the bias we see in their reporting.
So what exactly is the MSM angry about?
Are they angry about the economy because people are suffering? That can’t be. The economy is growing nicely, jobs are being created, unemployment is down and the stock market is up.
In fact unemployment is close to a rate that the economists consider it full employment. Black unemployment is at an all time low. Hispanic unemployment is down to 4.9%.
What is there to be angry about in the economy?
Are they angry about his America First attitude? It could be, but don’t we want a President making deals with the best interest of America in mind? Didn’t the President tell all world leaders he would expect them to do the same? Would any country want their leader negotiating with another country and not have their country’s best interest at heart?
Are they angry because he wants to renegotiate NAFTA to make it fairer for America? Are they angry because he wants TPP to be better for America? I guess they’re angry because of the Paris Climate control agreement, but their job is to present both sides. The Trump side is we are paying and doing things that others like China are excluded from, and that puts us in a negative position. Plus we are funding it and why is that?
Is the media angry because they have taken a stand and it is anti administration? But wait, their job is to present the facts and not decide policy.
Are they angry about foreign policy? Which part? The demolition of ISIS? The true red line he drew in Syria? The asking of NATO members to pay the funding they committed to? The refusal to continue a failed policy and blink with N. Korea?
Exactly what are they angry about here?
Are they angry about Russian collusion? Since it now appears it didn’t occur exactly what are they are angry about? Wasn’t it the left who made it seem real? So why are they angry at the administration for what didn’t occur?
Are they angry about immigration? What part? We have slowed illegal immigration, what part of illegal was wrong to stop? He wants a wall to protect our borders, just like every country protects theirs? He wants illegals who commit a crime deported, think about that. They came illegally, and then committed a crime and we want them to leave. What part makes the media angry?
Are they angry because he takes advantage of social media? Wait, I thought Obama wanting to keep his Blackberry was an example of a modern President. They disagree with his tweets? Wait, you are the media it gives news to report, not to take a stand on.
Are they angry at the tax cuts? I know it was misrepresented as a plan for the rich, but as we see daily it wasn’t. Are they angry because high state taxes where the media (NY and Calif) are located won’t get as great a cut as low tax states? Shouldn’t they just report the news and if they are angry at anyone it should be those taking their money, not those returning it?
We are wondering exactly what they are angry about. Could it be just their bias?
