The author says the book “will finally end the president’s White House tenure”.
Steve Bannon knows he made a mistake and is trying to make amends. He expresses “regret” to President Trump and praised Donald Trump Jr.
Bannon will never recover from this “mistake”.
The Trump haters in the MSM fell again for a false Trump story. Did you hear this one with MSNBC and others?
A Twitter account (@PixelatedBoat) tweeted out a satirical excerpt claiming to be from Wolff’s book. It said the President “spends 17 hours a day watching the Gorilla Channel and that his aides compiled videos of gorilla fights for Trump”.
Many people, including MSNBC’s Scott Dworkin, author Toure, and intelligence expert Eric Garland shared the tale before realizing it was a joke.
They believe anything like this about Trump, both because they want it to be true and believe what they hear. It tells you their mindset.
Here’s What We Think:
There are always books written from “insiders” that must contain sensational material to sell. This is not new.
What is new is the media wants to believe this and a large percentage of the population does too.
What is different is that past administrations downplayed and ignored the books. This President defends himself and gives the stories life.
That is one of the charges in the book. That the President’s ego forces him to defend himself against everything. That he cannot take any negatives and won’t listen to criticism.
All the President had to do when questions about the book arose and his fitness for the office is answer this way:
I have been President for a year. People have seen me deal with the economy, foreign affairs. – when I drew a red line it was real — when I said we would be after ISIS. – it was real. They have seen me deal with jobs here, and the focus to bring businesses back, and drive the economy. If some in the MSM cannot get used to an America First mentality that might be their issue. They keep looking for us to fail, but like their stock market predictions they are wrong.
As for the staff I stand with my people like General Mattis, who when asked yesterday what his number one concern was answered, “I don’t have concerns; I create them”. I am not concerned about books from people I fire, I am concerned with driving America forward for our citizens. That’s my last word on this.
Instead the President continues to allow his ego and inability to stop reacting get in the way. Enough with I went to the best colleges, got high grades, built a business, created a top rated TV show and got elected President. Let your performance in office speak for itself.
