Today the house and senate will likely vote to pass the tax bill and no Democrat will vote for it. What a shame.
Add, that no one is holding Democrats in red states accountable for voting against their own citizen interest and it shows a media bias.
The MSM all day will be playing how this will be a tax increase for the low and middle class. How? The bill raises the standard deduction to $24,000 before you owe a penny. Then taxes kick in at 3% less than the current and go to higher levels than before.
How?
You have to watch what they are saying. In ten years taxes could go up for personal rates. Why? We told you of the Byrd Rule (Democrat senator from W.Va.). Here’s the rule:
The Byrd Rule is a United States Senate rule that amends the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 to allow Senators during the Reconciliation Process to block legislation if it possibly would increase significantly the federal deficit beyond a ten-year term or is otherwise an “extraneous matter” as set forth in the Budget …
So they have to write it in a way that congress gets to continue the cuts in ten years.
Not telling people this is the MSM bias to hit conservatives.
And how if the cuts go away do the rich profit? Someone tell me. They will get hit harder.
Anyway watch the coverage and the unfairness. People get to keep more of their own money and the MSM thinks it’s bad.
As for the blue states that will see less of an increase in their take home than the red states. Here’s a novel idea. Vote in leaders who think you have the right to keep more of your own income; and can it spend it instead of them.
