Elections:
A clear anti Trump and pro Democratic night. The vote count wasn’t even close. Double digits in Governors’ races. Deblasio wins by 38 in NYC. The first transgender person to win, beats a 26 year Republican Conservative who offered the bill on separate bathrooms. There was no good news for Republicans. They lost legislative seats in state governments across the board.
Now some will fall back on those five congressional elections in the last year that Republicans won. Don’t be fooled by that. They won congressional districts that Republicans always won by huge margins, and if you recall each of these were close.
The prospect looking at next year’s mid terms is very bad for Republicans. The anti Trump crowd is angry and angry people go out to vote. The President better get some legislature through now, because longer term does not look promising.
As we watched the results we noticed the early trend in Virginia and knew that call would come early. What shocked us was seconds after the call the President tweeted throwing the Republican candidate under the bus. He blamed Gillespie for not embracing the President more. We were stunned and think that it says it all about Trump. He is his own worst obstacle. We suspect he will be criticized big time today for this tweet.
As time passes it is becoming clearer to us that Trump won in most part because his opponent was Hillary Clinton.
Here’s a recap on last night and how widespread the Democratic victory was from The Hill. You will see how angry the anti Trumpers are:

On Our Mind Today:
The sex scandal and stories continue to arise and Hollywood is getting rocked. It seems everyday more stories come out. One that just bothers us to no end is Roman Polanski. Yesterday there was a story that five additional people came forward that he abused them as children. That raises the number to ten that we know of. Yet these same sanctimonious actors that are enraged now protected him and fought to assure he would not be extradited back to serve his sentence. Have you heard any of them change their mind on him? Why is that?
By the way, the new accusers were between 9 and 16 when they said he abused them.
We have liberal friends with whom we disagree and enjoy the argument. But we will never forgive them for supporting Polanski and fighting against his return to the U.S. We didn’t understand then and don’t now.
On the same topic we read this from another Hollywood genius. It needs no comment.
“I would like to talk to Kevin Spacey,” veteran journalist and author Gay Talese told Vanity Fair on Tuesday. “I feel so sad, and I hate that actor that ruined this guy’s career. So, OK, it happened 10 years ago … Jesus, suck it up once in a while!”
The Hollywood cesspool is being exposed and there is a lot more ahead.

With it’s new lineup, Fox News took back the No. 1 ranking in total viewers, both in total day and perhaps more importantly, in prime time. FNC has finished No. 1 in total day for 8 straight weeks, and returned to the top in prime time.
Additionally, FNC programs also made up 5 of the top 10 cable telecasts in total viewers, including various telecasts of Tucker Carlson Tonight, Hannity and the newest addition to the network’s prime time lineup, The Ingraham Angle.
Sean Hannity once again had the No. 1 program across all of cable news, holding off 9 p.m. rival Rachel Maddow by 429,000 total viewers and 13,000 A25-54 viewers.
The debut week of The Ingraham Angle at 10 p.m. earned a dominant win over time slot counterpart The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell in total viewers. The margin of victory over O’Donnell was far tighter when it came to the ad-friendly A25-54 demo.
Ingraham’s interviews with the White House Chief of Staff and POTUS aired on two separate nights during her debut week, which undoubtedly boosted ratings. Will Ingraham remain ahead of O’Donnell going forward?
