Really this is not big news?
Remember the hearings and denials by the Obama Administration and IRS (Lois Lerner) denying any prejudice against Tea Party organizations? Remember their smug attitude, lost data and smashed computers?
Well guess what, they did it — just as you knew — even as the MSM defended them. Here’s a release yesterday on an agreement reached:
“Tea Party Groups settled a lawsuit they filed against the IRS that said the agency discriminated against the groups when it reviewed their applications for tax-exempt status during President Barack Obama’s administration.A proposed consent order filed in federal court Wednesday includes a note of apology from the IRS for its employees’ conduct when looking at the applications”.
The Government also agreed to pay $3.5 million to tea party groups targeted during the Obama administration, saying the intrusive scrutiny was illegal and cannot be allowed to happen again.
The government also reversed its tune on former senior executive Lois Lerner. Instead of being a hero who tried to stop the targeting — as the Obama administration concluded in 2015 — the Justice Department and IRS now say she failed to stop her employees and hid the bad behavior from her bosses for two years.
Our problem with this is why are there no criminal charges and why aren’t some IRS employees going to jail for the pain, mischief and disruption?
Really You Don’t Report This?
We heard over and over when a single federal judge stopped the President’s Travel Ban, right? Did you hear this decision on Trump cutting the health care subsidies that states want to court on?
“A federal judge in San Francisco rejected states’ claims that consumers would be drastically harmed by President Trump’s order to end cost-sharing payments”.
Is it only news when they overturn the President?
Really?
Et tu George HW Bush, really? In a wheelchair, with Parkinson’s and just off death’s door and you are doing what? I don’t care what generation you were born into — you are dead wrong. A disgrace.
No wonder he loves Bill Clinton “as a son”. I guess Bill did all he wished.
And it makes no difference who you are or how you do it. Ellen DeGeneres should be condemned as well. Did you see the picture and tweet she put out?
Here’s a description.
“Happy birthday, @KatyPerry! It’s time to bring out the big balloons!” the star wrote over an image of her gawking, mouth agape, at Perry’s breasts.
Oh yea, DeGeneres was an outspoken critic, dedicating part of her show to sharing her thoughts on the #MeToo movement. Just another hypocrite.
She can join Mark Halperin who has now lost his job at MSNBC, a book release on the 2016 election, and an HBO movie on the book. Oh yea, this hypocrite tweeted this about a Republican: “remarks are outrageous & should be denounced by all. Sexual assault is a serious matter”.
Yes it is Mark, yes it is.
On The Dossier
I wonder how it happened.
We know this much — The Clinton campaign and DNC funded it.
But, I heard Hillary say she knew nothing. Podesta, Fallon and Mook knew nothing. Debbie Wasserman Schultz head of the DNC knew nothing.
I wonder how it happened.
Maybe the Russians infiltrated their campaign and authorized it on their own. Or, maybe when Donald Trump Jr. met with that Russian lawyer he gave them a check with DMC credentials.
WSJ Editorial Board
The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board called for Special Counsel Robert Mueller to step down from investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election. They feel he is too close to the events of the time and cannot be fair.
Will any other MSM follow and say the same?
We doubt it. However if he were looking into Democrats do you think they would be?
Really? The Budget Vote
So yesterday the House passed the budget which is a prelude to the tax discussion. Note we said discussion, because the elements of the tax package have not been released or shared yet. Think about that.
We don’t know, as we’ve said here on numerous occasions, the tax brackets. What deductions will be allowed. If there will be a fifth bracket (39.5%). All of that will be laid out and discussed with the budget passed.
But think of this, the MSM, the Democrats and liberals have been attacking the cuts as for the rich for over a month now. How can that be? You tell me, because they know as much as you know about the details. It’s just an example of the MSM bias and desire to attack anything.
Here’s an example.
Our friend George Stephanopoulos on his Sunday show attacked the administration and reps, saying the program cuts favored the rich and Trump was a liar. He was indignant and angry.
This AM, on GMA, he said how can they pass something we have no details about, we don’t know what the program is.
Right Georg,e but you are a hypocrite and spent weeks attacking what you don’t know. A disgrace.
Really this is not news?
On the budget vote yesterday Republicans from New York, California and NJ voted with the Democrats. Why? They fear the inclusion of the loss of the deduction of state and local taxes. They voted to save their jobs and protect their constituents you can say. We understand that.
So how come Democrats in states where their people would get deductions because they have low or no tax also voted with their party? How come it doesn’t matter to them? Not one Democrat in those states voted for the lower taxes.
Why are they so party loyal? How come the MSM only covers the Republicans who voted “against Trump and for their constituents” and not the Democrats who voted against theirs?
If it were reversed how would the media cover it?
The JFK Files
We had to wait all day because President Trump got out there and promised what he could not deliver. So finally around eight last night most of the secret files were released.
Nothing we saw changed the belief that Lee Harvey Oswald did it. (Read Case Closed for the best book and study).
No Ted Cruz Dad news in there, he can rest easy now. How crazy was that?
Really GDP Growth
Output expanded at 3.1% rate in the second quarter as the U.S. economy grew robustly in the third quarter despite two hurricanes, propelled by steady spending from American businesses and households.
Good news.
