Watching news on the MSM has become a task.
The coverage is close to 100% biased. There is no objectivity.
As an example, have you seen anything about the questions of a Russian connection to Democracts outside of one story on NBC from the MSM? Why is it that only Fox and Fox Business have the story?
Yesterday was a day the President managed not to shoot himself in the foot. So what are stories in today’s NYT? Here the leads be section.
News Section Lead: Cutting Taxes Is Hard. Trump Is Making It Harder
Wait it’s his tax cut program so why this lead?
Because he said he would protect your 401K right.
Think about that. What if he said he was going to cut it? Would they say he was making it easier or destroying peoples futures?
Think about that.
Their coverage would be, the rich don’t need this, they have many saving opportunities. This cut in 401K hurts the average person trying to save for their future.
Just straight out biased coverage and not a fair presentation.
US News Lead: SgtBowe Bergdahl’s Odd Journey From Victim to Criminal.
The story’s lead is that two years ago Bergdahl was headed to freedom under time served and now under Trump he is facing life in prison.
Hey NYT the issue is not now, it was two years ago.
The man deserted. His fellow soldiers went looking for him. Some got hurt. We traded five hardened terrorists from Guantanamo for him.
Opinion Page Column: Democrats Should Embrace Impeachment.
For what? This is the same paper that said Bill Clinton should not be impeached.
By the way the WSJ this AM had this on Bergdhal:
” Defense lawyers for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl argued that he shouldn’t be sent to prison because Mr. Trump’s latest comments on the case make it impossible for the former Taliban captive to receive a fair sentence, Nancy A. Youssef reports. Sgt. Bergdahl is set to be sentenced for misbehavior before the enemy and desertion when he walked away from his post in Afghanistan on June 30, 2009. Mr. Trump, during the campaign trail, called Sgt. Bergdahl a traitor.”
We ask again, do you think Bergdhal would be going (where he belongs) to prison if Clinton had won? If Obama were still President?
Media On The Gold Star Family Call
All negative. What are they saying?
Do they think the President made the call to berate the family?
How come they don’t ever give him credit for calling families?
How come they never show – not once – families who were happy he called?
A congresswoman who wants Trump impeached gets involved and he is all wrong?
They cover this like Trump sent these soldiers to die.
Do they know we were in the area before he became President?
Do they know we are in a global war with Islamic Terrorists who want to kill us?
Do they know if we don’t get them where they are then we allow another base, ala Osama Bin Laden and will pay the consequences?
Then they would be blaming Trump for no action.
Do they know that in Benghazi where four died there truly was mismanagement and a failure to respond to requests for added security for months? How come the MSM never covered that?
A Story Today On The Internet Coverage
Robert Epstein of the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology, and Robert E. Robertson, a professor at Northeastern University presented the information.
A simple experiment in the run-up to the presidential election. They conducted searches on Google and Yahoo for political topics. The results were clear.
They looked at 4,045 election-related searches on Google and Yahoo during a 25-day period from mid-October through Election Day.
They found that the pro-Clinton articles swamped pro-Trump news.
No surprise here. It was clear who organizations like Google supported.
I Know the MSM Loves This But
George W. makes a speech and the MSM loves him now. Why? Well he appeared to attack the President. So the same media that called him dumb, stupid, lost, a liar and unfit for the office, loves him now.
Mr. Ex President how in the world can you side up with Clinton and Obama who called you every name possible? Who blamed you for every ill in the U.S. and the world. Who called you a liar? Who said you were so incompetent that people died. For eight years they treated you like a punching bag and all you said was it unpresidential to speak up. Now you do so?
Thanks for proving their point to the right.
WSJ On Healthcare:
Republicans returning to Washington will decide in coming days whether to embrace or set aside a bipartisan health bill that has gained traction in Congress, a decision potentially made harder by President Donald Trump’s statements praising the effort but opposing the bill itself, Stephanie Armour and Alejandro Lazo report. On Tuesday, Mr. Trump is scheduled to appear at Senate Republicans’ weekly luncheon, where the discussion is expected to center on a tax overhaul and possibly health care.
That luncheon will be interesting and made more so with the battle this AM over the air and in twitter between the President and Senator Corker. The Senator has become John McCain two. The President attacks the person, the senator holds a grudge, the MSM delights in reporting it and the country suffers.
The Ratings
Megyn Kelly with her ratings in the doldrums jumped into the Bill O’Reilly mess yesterday, attacking him. She needs the publicity and some good press and saw this as an opportunity. Many will say she quit Fox and should mind her own business. But, she needs something.
Since taking over the timeslot Kelly has failed to live up to the benchmark set by Tamron Hall and Al Roker, who previously held it.
During her debut week, Kelly’s show was down 12 percent in total viewership from that time slot last year. “The second week brought in 24 percent fewer viewers, and the third week saw a 23 percent smaller audience, according to Nielsen data.
