Here we go ……

We moved from Russia all the time, to North Korea all the time. Well check that, because now it will be Charlottesville Va. all the time.

Let’s not underplay the situation here. Driving a car into people on the street is terrorism. It should be called out no matter who does it. Why the President didn’t, we don’t know. It was wrong, especially from someone who correctly criticized his predecessors administration for the failure to utter the words “Radical Islamist Terrorism”.

Next, white supremacists walking and chanting “White Lives Matter” is as wrong as others chanting “Black Lives Matter”. We said it when that movement was out there daily and we say it again today — All Lives Matter.
A life is precious and everyone matters to someone. You cannot have one life valued over another. All lives matter  – period.
We repeat, if you are protesting something and add “too” to the end, we can live with that, but implying only your movemment lives matter is wrong.

We need leadership today to bring the country and people together. The divide is wide and we are clearly a divided people.  Virginia should have better prepared for the events this weekend. A white supremacist group is coming into town to protest around a statue of General Lee that you are going to take down. You know the announcement that you are going to remove the statue will inflame some. You know the group coming in is going to draw counter protesters calling them racist. How could you allow the two to come together?  You own some of this.

Finally, the President needs to heal and lead. He ad libbed in his speech the “all group” words and helped set off the firestorm as the MSM saw an opening to attack him. They will be unmerciful on him now and if he doesn’t manage this better they will make this his Katrina.

North Korea:

The pot still boils and what the outcome becomes remains uncertain. It is interesting to watch the MSM say Trump’s words are inflaming the situation. Really? Why don’t you go back and see how the soothing words of Bill Clinton, George Bush and Barack Obama worked so well. In fact, check how you (the MSM) praised their actions. You were wrong.

Now we sit with a nuclear N. Korea able to attack. Who owns the blame, and what do we do? Let’s see what the famous Susan Rice said this week:
“History shows that we can, if we must, tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea — the same way we tolerated the far greater threat of thousands of Soviet nuclear weapons during the Cold War”.
So live with it she says; that’s the liberal solution.

As for how we got here, here’s her thoughts:
She acknowledged that three previous administrations “failed” in stopping North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.  “That’s a very unfortunate outcome” she said. “You can call it a failure,” she said. “I accept that characterization over the last two decades”.

Since you admit your policies failed, we’ll pass on your giving us the solution now.

The Ratings:

It will be interesting to see how the anti Trump coverage of Virginia drives liberal station ratings when announced later this week.
In the interim here’s last Wedneday’s and Thurday’s numbers:
