Another same old weekend ….

Just more of the same all weekend. Russia, healthcare, tweets, is the President going to fire the special prosecutor and is he going to pardon himself and family. Dominated the morning, evening and Sunday news shows. If there was other news we missed it.

One thing was clear. The President continues to muddy the waters himself. He can’t stick to his message, his ego forces him to revert back to what the MSM is attacking on. All it does is perpetuate the issue. It’s clear to us the President will never get it and this will go on and on.

In other news:

They didn’t cover this feel good story, because they had too much breaking (old nothing news) on the MSM. But in recently freed Raqqa, the people took to the streets in joy. The women burnt their burqas and men shaved off their beards in a show of defiance against ISIS.
Think this would have been nice to see and illustrate how ISIS is on the run? Maybe too positive for the administration to show on TV? After all they may have talked to the Russians during the campaign.

Another story not reported was this one. The administration has cancelled 860 Obama era regulations. Imagine that.
Plus, Budget Director Mick Mulvaney said 179 of these came what he called “a secret list”. Sounds like potentially big and interesting news to us, but wait, the administration may have spoken to the Russians during the campaign.

Jared Kushner to testify:

This AM Jared Kushner will be before the Senate Intelligence Committee on the his involvement in the Russian matter. He released early an eleven page statement in which he clearly says there is nothing here and here are the meetings I had. Big news today.

Sean Spicer Leaves:

This was overdue. The relationship got off more than rocky on day one when he went out and falsely blasted the media for saying the inauguration crowd size was less than Obama’s. He accused them of lying in an angry and defiant way. Relationships never got better. His personality wasn’t a good fit.
Add to the situation that the President’s tweets, off message remarks and comments make the job impossible, and you end up with a six month stint. Even with more relaxed personalities to handle this it won’t help if the President goes off message. And he will.

Today the Democrats unveil a new program:

As if they were never in office for eight years and just lost a presidential election the Democrats today are rolling out a new economic plan under the banner “A Better deal”. Really? Are the voters that naive?
Plus it kind of sounds like the Republican health plan that they had for eight years – A Better Way. That worked out didn’t it?
