Stagnant ……..

It’s a month into summer and as usual the news slows as people enjoy life outdoors and take vacations. In 2017 we are stuck in a cycle this week. Russia and Trump Jr., Healthcare stalemate and bad Trump polls. That’s all you hear, over and over as the MSM assures you heard it. So the news is light.

But why?

Why can’t the President learn or someone smack him into submission over his tweets? He spent the day on manufacturing and supporting “Made In America” week. As with other weekly messages before, it’s a good one that would resonate with citizens. So what does he do when he gets back into the WH after a long day? He tweets about the unfairness with Donald Jr.
Doesn’t he realize he is changing the message? That he makes the news? Why are you bringing it back right where your enemies and the MSM want to focus?

Try something new.

Announce you are done with this Russia hysteria. You and your team did nothing with Russia. You have shouted this, proclaimed it and said it over and over.  You are done. We have a Senate committee, a house committee and a special prosecutor all investigating this. You are going to let them finish and tell the American people. Your intention is to focus on the issues before us to make life better for every American. That’s it.

Then as the press shouts, you focus on your message that day and week. Let them look bad. You will win now, and win when you are proven truthful. In addition, your daily tweets should be focused on that same message. No more on Russia. Done.

Is that so hard?

On Healthcare:

So two more conservative senators announce they will vote “no” because the bill is not conservative enough. That kills this bill. Congratulations to them and Rand Paul, you gave America Obamacare.

Plus we told you Mitch McConnell would not get this done. Just like he won’t get Kate’s law passed.

What a mess both parties are. Watch now how Trump and the Republicans get blamed for the Obamacare failings. Schumer, Pelosi and team will say the uncertainty and failure to invest has led to the issues. Led by McConnell and Ryan the Republicans will be inept in fighting back. The Democrats should own the train wreck ahead. First for the manner they passed the original bill and how they fought to keep it. But watch.

Those Polls:

ABC has touted its new poll day and night for three days now. The one that says Trump is at 36% popularity. Here’s some facts:

The ABC poll was made up of 35% Democrats, only 23% Republicans and the balance independents. In case you haven’t noticed there is a great divide in America between Democrats and Republican voters. How many people were polled? 1001 (an average of 20 per state).  You get it without us going deeper.
Now we’re not saying Trump is running highly popular. But other polls released this week show the counties he won in the election are still solidly in his corner. He’s most likely in the low 40’s in our opinion, not the dire place ABC places him.
Oh yea, ABC forgot to tell you the Democrat party was rated lower than Trump and people said they had no message other than anti Trump.

South Korea’s new leader asks North Korea to talk:

The new liberal leader of S. Korea (Moon Jae-in) believes he can do what every other attempt has not, that is sit and talk with North Korea.
No chance.

Former NY Police Commissioner on recent cop killing:

You watch the news and if a police officer does something wrong it is on the air over and over. Do they cover officer shootings and killings the same way? No. Does the negative coverage impact people? We think so, so does Howard Safir former NY Police Commissioner. Here’s his words:

Howard Safir blamed Familia’s (NY Officer killed last week ) murder — in part — on the 2014 police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.

“Ever since Ferguson, which turned out to be totally bogus fake news about what Michael Brown did or did not do . . . there has been an atmosphere in the country where police departments and police officers are attacked constantly”.

“The atmosphere was created and continues to be created by the media,” Safir said, asserting that this same climate “is what led people like this perpetrator to literally execute a fine police officer who was out there doing her job.”

This racially charged setting, post-Ferguson, could only “embolden” a known cop-hater like Bonds, according to Safir. (Bonds killed NY Cop).

“As long as this atmosphere prevails about police being brutal and racist and involved in misconduct, we are going to continue to embolden criminals to go after, not only police, but after citizens,” Safir said.
