Let’s see what we saw and then what we heard all weekend.
We saw a President go to the G20 and dare to differ with the other leaders. We saw him stick to his beliefs and principles.
The MSM saw it different. They saw a President out of touch and isolated.
Imagine a President daring to differ with Europe. Now we ask which country at the G20 do you want to change positions with? Maybe they need some new thoughts and leadership.
Here’s the WSJ this morning on the meeting referring to the President:
“He barely budged. If anything, Mr. Trump’s two forays overseas have shown that some leaders are bending toward his positions, not the reverse”. Did you hear anything like that on the air this weekend?
Then we heard all week leading up to the G20 that the President wasn’t going to bring up Russian meddling in the U.S. election. Why they said it just showed how he thought and what might have gone on. (CNN reported all week that an “Anonymous Source Claimed Trump Would Not Press Putin on Election Interference”).
So what happened? It was topic one from the President. In fact both sides agree it came up twice. Good enough for the MSM?
Of course not. Look they said Putin said he didn’t do it. What did they expect Putin to bow down? I thought you said he wasn’t bringing it up. You were wrong again MSM and what do you do? You find the fact the Russians disagree on the issue to be the topic. A joke.
Does the MSM cover anything else? The Syrian cease fire? No of course not. In fact Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize for less.
Now does anyone reading this think it was a coincidence that the NYT broke a meeting story with Trump Jr. and others and a Russian this weekend? We don’t. We think it was planned because Trump’s speech in Poland and a successful G20.
Look at the rest of the coverage. Trump stepped out for a quick meeting with the French and Ivanka sat in the chair representing the U.S. This was a major issue for the MSM. Legal and following protocol, yes. But this was Ivanka not Hillary sitting for Bill, thus a big negative issue.
At some point the MSM is going to go over the deep end in the eyes of most people. It is building and their credibility continues to decline. If you watched George Stephanopoulos yesterday on his Sunday show or this AM on GMA you were worried about his getting a heart attack he was so angry. Joe and Mika were in high form of delight reporting the news as they saw it.
Keep this up and the day of reckoning is coming.
BTW, the NYT issued this on another false story:
Follow this one:
Sarah Palin sued the Times over a June 14 editorial that stated there was a “direct” link between one of Palin’s PAC ads and the shooting of Congress Member Gabby Gibbons six years ago. This was in response to the liberal link of the shooter of Republican Congressional members on the ball field.
What’s the NYT defense?
Palin’s defamation lawsuit against should be tossed because the paper made “an honest mistake” when it said she incited a 2011 shooting. “There was an honest mistake in posting the editorial,” lawyer David Schultz told Manhattan federal Judge Jed Rakoff.
Really? The NYT made an “honest mistake” in trying to equate the Washington DC shooting and tying the one in Arizona to Sarah Palin. We don’t think so. It was what they believe and feel, except the evidence does not support it.
Disgraceful and no media coverage.
Congress Returns:
We predict again, Mitch McConnell cannot get healthcare done. He won’t get Kate’s Law passed either.
ISIS Goes Down:
The promise from President Trump and Secretary of Defense Mattis was to defeat ISIS. The news yesterday that Mosul was recaptured and the enemy defeated was a major blow to ISIS. They (ISIS) are truly on the run now and the administration is doing what they said they would.
Under a different President and time the MSM would be covering and telling you this.
