The issues remain the same. Obamacare, the Russians and wiretapping.
Replacing Obamacare:
As we’ve said since the day it passed in 2009, you can’t insure 30 million for free, improve coverage and lower costs. Impossible.
Obamacare forced young people to buy coverage or face a fine. That was how it intended to offset costs. It didn’t work and the system is falling apart. You have seen the insurers leaving the system. Republicans are doing a great job of bailing out Democrats on a failed system. In 2018 the problems would have been clear to all as insurers ran. Obama had the costs deferred until then.
In the end we all want insurance for all, but how do you pay the bill? The CBO said we would save $337 million with the Trump/Ryan bill. But 24 million would lose coverage. Do you balance the budget or give free insurance? You can’t do both.
The Russians and Wiretapping:
President Trump’s tweet that Saturday AM just destroyed what could have turned out to be an advantage. He accused Obama of wiretapping him. As we said that day Obama is too smart to do that (or have his hands exposed on it). It changed the narrative. Before that tweet it was about connections and collusion between the Russians and Trump team. There was none and that will prove out which would have been a Trump asset. Instead, it is now all about the Obama wiretapping charge. There was wiretapping, but you will never find the smoking gun on Obama. Plus the illegal leaks are lost in the explosive charges. That is a real crime.
An opportunity lost.
By the way, did you notice less Trump tweets since? Hard to believe he learned, though.

Democrats plan to block spending bills over border wall?
Congressional Democrats on Monday said they’re ready to block spending bills over President Trump’s planned border wall, raising the risks of a new government shutdown.
They can’t be that dumb. Republicans did it and the backfire was massive.
Dems are against the new vetting procedure.
Senate Democrats announced a bill Monday to revoke President Trump’s latest extreme vetting executive order, saying its discriminatory and counterproductive to the country’s efforts to influence allies. They really are against checking who is coming into the country.
Plus, five states are challenging the new temporary ban in court.

What, the Russians met with the Democrats too this year? Who would have guessed that? I bet now it was their job.

How funny was the news about replacing U.S. Attorney’s?
As soon as it was announced, the headlines and outrage came flying out. CNN led the way with “Outrage as administration announces ….” Then within hours it quieted as it turned out Clinton fired double the people in the same manner, and oh yea, Obama did the same. But the MSM acted before knowing the facts thinking this was another chance to get Trump. Instead they got trumped.

Did you know the Democrats want to lower the voting age to 17?
They are starting in California and the program is funded by George Soros. Democratic legislators introduced a landmark bill, that would give the Golden State the nation’s youngest statewide voting age by lowering the threshold from 18 to 17 in the name of reversing the slide in voter turnout.
They plan on trying to do this in other places.
They know as voters age, get jobs, pay taxes and live life they turn more conservative. Remember the old saying “if you’re not a liberal at 20 you have no heart, and if you’re not a conservative at 40 you have no brain”?
If people continue to smarten up we’ll be lowering the voting age to 10.
