One Day Later:
The reviews remain strong for Trump’s speech before congress. Schumer, Pelosi and team hit the airwaves and condemned it, but they came across the same as they did the night of it. Shallow.
Their point of attack was “how is he going to pay for things”? Really, now you found religion. As a country we accumulated $10 trillion of debt from Presidents George Washington through George W. Bush. We doubled that in Obama’s eight years to $20 trillion. One President doubled the debt of our history while you supported his every move. Now you have concerns? Shallow.
Plus, Senator Schumer and Congress person Pelosi, allowed me to be the first to inform you that over 85% of that $20 trillion debt has occurred while you were in Congress. Maybe we should get rid of you. Your words are Shallow.
One last point to them. Since we need to do what the President presented, let me ask you, what are you going to cut to allow it to happen? I know the cut is alien to you but look it up. Shallow.
Issues The Day After
Immigration and what to do. We say again our solution is still the best (in our opinion). That is the criminals, drug dealers and those breaking the law are rounded up and deported. The borders are locked and anyone entering from this moment on is deported. You are on notice. Those already here illegally, but not criminals then do the following. Register and go on the bottom of the list to become citizens. They can stay while on the list as long as they don’t break the law, pay their taxes and contribute to society. No advantage for coming here illegally over those who have tried the legal manner, but compassionate we think.
Obamacare is issue two today. We are on record numerous times saying we don’t see how it is replaced, money saved and insure 30 million for free. The current program is a disaster with the bills already paid big, but the large ones coming in 2018. It may well self destruct on its own, as you are aware that insurance companies are bailing on it. How you replace a disaster, but keep everyone insured, no pre conditions and kids on parents until 26, and reduce costs is beyond us. Last night he said further we would take away the mandate for people to buy. That was the sole revenue source in the whole act. We’ll wait and see, but phoniness of liberals saying nothing is wrong is beyond words.
A Cabinet Addition:
The Senate approved Ryan Zinke as Interior secretary yesterday with 68 votes in favor including 16 Democrats. We ask again, with that support what took so long? Nothing except far left zeals throwing mud.
Supporting Police Departments:
You may have not seen this yesterday, but it is big news and shows the difference in administrations.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions indicated on Tuesday that the federal government would back away from monitoring troubled police departments, which was the central strategy of the Obama administration to force accountability onto local law enforcement amid rising racial tensions.
In his first speech as attorney general, Mr. Sessions did not name any specific cities, but he indicated that Justice Department scrutiny from afar was undermining the effectiveness of the police across the country. It was a clear reference to the aggressive efforts of the Obama administration to oversee law enforcement agencies charged with civil rights abuses.
“We need, so far as we can, in my view, help police departments get better, not diminish their effectiveness,” Mr. Sessions said in remarks to the National Association of Attorneys General. “And I’m afraid we’ve done some of that. So we’re going to try to pull back on this, and I don’t think it’s wrong or mean or insensitive to civil rights or human rights.”
And their folks you have an example of Obama’s famous words
“Elections have consequences”
