It’s Never Dull ……

Trump Time. It’s Never Dull

It’s never dull under President Trump. Let’s see the last 24 hours:

The President’s lawyers sue to stop the Bannon/Wolf book from release.
Why?  There is no chance to win that.
So what does the publisher do? He releases it early and today it’s out.
It’s flying off the shelfs.

Next With The Book

Those who despise Trump will love it and believe everything.
The MSM will love it.
Those who support the President will say it’s all a fallacy.
MSNBC ratings will skyrocket (see ratings below for the day it broke).
The authors credibility will be challenged.
He does have a credibility challenge. Here’s what he says at book start:
A number of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradict those of others.
But they were nonetheless included in the vivid account of the West Wing’s workings, in a process he describes as “allowing the reader to judge” whether they are true.

There you go. He is leaving to others to judge. If you are anti or pro Trump you already judged.   Let the noise begin.

Last comment on this.
If this book were about Obama and the author said what he did, how would they present it?

More on North Korea:

The left (and MSM) continue to rail at the President for his tweets back.
Our last word on this is:
For 24 years our leaders appeased Kim Jong-un. He developed and got to the brink of the ability to deliver nuclear weapons. Facts are a tough thing to dispute.
He didn’t get to this point because we were too tough, he got there because we were too weak. What are you arguing?

Trump and the Stock Market:

Do you notice how the MSM has downplayed the amazing market growth? Ask yourself again if Obama or Clinton were President would they be doing that? We think not.
In fact we think that if Obama were President they would nominate him for a Nobel Prize in Economics. After all they gave him one for Peace for far less after three days in office.

The market, jobs and tax cuts are beginning to impact Trump’s numbers a little. All the polling services now have him over 40% approval. (he was in the 30’s). Rasmussen has him at 44 and YouGov at 43 today.

Jobs and Unemployment

The jobs report today was below expectations but contained some interesting numbers.
148,000 jobs were created in December. Forecast was 190,000.
Retail jobs declined (think online buying impact).
Manufacturing jobs were up
Unemployment remained at a 17 year low of 4.1%.
Hourly wage was up.
Black unemployment dropped to 6.8%. A record low.

If people vote on their pocketbook, these numbers combined with the market is good news.

Jeff Sessions:

The whispers that the job is too big for Sessions is getting louder. You may recall we called for his resignation months ago. Yesterday two major congressional Republicans came out for the same.  They were Mark Meadows  (N.C.) and Jim Jordan (Ohio).

We see this drumbeat getting louder despite the news he is investigating the Clinton machine.
